Antique frontliners receive PPEs from DENR, PRC

Photo by PNA SAN JOSE, Antique – Around 800 faceshields were distributed to the frontliners in various towns of this province. The municipalities of San Jose, Sibalom,Belison, Hamtic, Tobias Fornier, Tibiao, and Pandan were the recipients of thepersonal protective equipment (PPEs), which were provided by the Department ofEnvironment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Antique Response Emergency Action Team(REAcT) in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross-Antique. The initiative served as an expressionof support to the frontliners fighting to curb the spread of the coronavirusdisease 2019 pandemic in the province.center_img The other recipients of the PPEs werethe frontliners working in banks, the public market in this capital town,personnel of the Provincial Health Office, and some of the media practitioners. Meanwhile, DENR-PENRO head Andres Untalis urging both the public and private agencies and institutions to donate theirused public bottles in support to the initiative.
