Community members participate in wheelchair challenge

first_imgParticipants agreed that the worst accessible-areas are where the sidewalk meets the road. In some places, there are a couple of inches between the pavement and the sidewalk. This makes it hard for wheelchairs to get onto the sidewalk. Thursday’s event was a kick off to the campaign for the annual Wheels in Motion Fundraiser which is scheduled for June 13th in Centennial Park.
